As a Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will own Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) prudential and own-funds reporting under PSD2, maintaining capital adequacy monitoring and safeguarding reporting consistency across the entity. You will operate with strong financial judgment, applying advanced understanding of Microsoft Finance and the regulatory environment to ensure accurate, complete, and timely submissions to the CBI.

Responsibilities

Own Regulatory Reporting

Own the preparation and submission of financial and prudential regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Maintain the regulatory reporting calendar and coordinate cross-functional inputs across Finance, Treasury, Safeguarding, and Operations.

Financial and Regulatory Alignment

Ensure full alignment and consistency between statutory financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory submissions.

Capital Management and Own Funds

Calculate and monitor own funds requirements in accordance with PSD2 methodologies, ensuring ongoing capital adequacy compliance.

Oversee reporting of capital position, eligible own funds, and regulatory ratios, with clear tracking against thresholds and risk appetite.

Provide capital forecasting, scenario analysis, and assessment of impacts from business growth, new products, and model changes.

Safeguarding Regulatory Reporting

Oversee safeguarding-related regulatory reporting, ensuring consistency between safeguarding calculations, reconciliations, and reported figures.

Validate client funds disclosures and support regulatory queries, audits, and reviews relating to safeguarding compliance.

Data Integrity and Reconciliation

Ensure all regulatory outputs are fully reconciled to the general ledger and underlying source systems, with end-to-end data traceability.

Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and implement controls to ensure data quality, validation, and reporting integrity.

Methodology, Policy and Documentation

Develop and maintain regulatory reporting methodologies, policies, and documentation, ensuring clear interpretation of regulatory requirements and audit readiness.

Controls Framework and Governance

Design and operate a robust regulatory reporting controls framework, including review, validation, audit trails, and proactive engagement with regulators, auditors, and Board governance forums.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field or Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent AND solid demonstratable experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

OR equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience in regulatory or prudential financial reporting within a large or complex organisation, including capital adequacy monitoring, variance analysis, and reconciliation between statutory and management reporting.

Proven ability to engage credibly with stakeholders, regulators or auditors, with the ability to communicate complex financial and regulatory concepts clearly to non-specialist audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with CBI regulatory reporting under PSD2 or other prudential regimes (e.g., CRD/CRR, Solvency II).

Prior experience in financial services, payments, technology, cloud services or online platforms sectors.

Exposure to capital adequacy modelling, scenario analysis, or safeguarding requirements under PSD2.

Working proficiency in a second European language is desirable but not required; all working communications can be conducted in English.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 80,000.00 - € 136,400.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
