Job Summary
The ACAP (Airport Customer Assistance Program) Agent is responsible for assisting passengers with special needs by ensuring that they are safely transported throughout the airport facility.
Your activities
Assists both inbound and outbound passengers by physically transporting them throughout the airport facilities
Monitors passengers with special needs and their personal effects, while they are in the airline terminal, airline lounges, customer care centers, shopping areas, etc.
Conduct carry on/off as required
Assist special needs passengers with baggage and personal effects
Provide information to the public
Ensure deployment of the Corporate QHSE Manual
Operate surreys through terminal and parking facilities including passengers and personal effects on and off the surrey
Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
Maintain uniform dress code at all times
Follow training and rules, apply correct procedures and use personal protective equipment as instructed.
Only perform tasks for which they are trained for. If in doubt, colleagues shall stop the action and seek advice from the Duty Manager
Share personal Health & Safety, Environment knowledge with others
Report any incident, near miss, unsafe act or condition according to this manual. In case of doubt stop the task and consult superior for guidance
Perform duties conscientiously, without putting themselves, others, or the environment at risk
All other duties associated with the job classification
Comply with the responsibilities detailed in the station's QHSE Management System Manual and the manuals under your responsibility and management, ensuring compliance with the requirements in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISAGO standards.
Your profile
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Exceptional Customer Service and must have relevant work experience
Experience as a passenger agent or equivalent experience in aviation field is an asset.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in country specific language
Additional languages desirable (French language is required for the locations in the province of Quebec).

Attentive to detail and numerate
Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
