The Payroll team, part of the Finance function, includes payroll operations coordinators, a project analyst, and payroll accountants who support payroll delivery across multiple countries. As a Project Intern, you will gain exposure to end-to-end payroll processes while supporting transformation and standardization initiatives. You will collaborate with different team members and learn how payroll operations and project work connect in an international environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist in mapping and documenting payroll processes to support standardisation initiatives
Support data collection, validation, and analysis for payroll-related projects and process improvements
Collaborate with payroll team members to identify opportunities for efficiency and simplification
Participate in ongoing payroll projects and contribute ideas during discussions and workshops
Help structure and maintain project documentation, including process maps and guidelines
Qualifications:
You must be a full-time student enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Studies, Economics or related field.
You must be located in the Netherlands.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Analytical mindset with an interest in data and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Eagerness to learn and develop in a payroll and project environment
Benefits:
The internship lasts 6 months, starting on September 15th, 2026
It is a 32 hour/week internship
We offer a hybrid, flexible working model (+/- 2 office days)
You will receive a monthly internship allowance of EUR 400 for bachelor's students, and EUR 600 for master's students
You will be part of a casual sneaker culture and experience a collaborative and supportive team environment
Please note: This is a non-thesis internship.
