12-month fixed term position, with potential opportunity for renewal

Full time (76 hours per fortnight)

Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 3 Level 1 (HS3) - salary over award commensurate with candidate's experience

The Department

The Malignant Haematology, Transplantation and Cellular Therapies Service and the Haemostasis / Thrombosis Unit and the Haemophilia Centre support Haematology patients from the greater Melbourne area, and adult haemophilia patients from all of Victoria.

The Role

Reporting to the Trial Development & Operations Manager (TDOM)), the AMaRC Clinical Trial Project Manager (CTPM) will collaborate with AMaRC investigators, trial sites research/governance offices, third-party vendors and external funders to deliver trial project and other research project milestones are achieved. The CTPM may also be directed to support others AMaRC activities including, but not limited to, trial development, budgets and funding negotiations.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant health science or life science

Expert understanding of the clinical trial processes and procedures

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in clinical research, preferably with an understanding of IITs

Interest in project management

Strong communication, administrative and relationship management skills

Strong understanding of the clinical trial milie

Desirable

GCP certificate

Experience in clinical research and/or practice in Haematology or Medical Oncology

Experience or familiarity with a disease registry

Experience or familiarity with databases such as REDCap
