About the role
The Store Planner supports the coordination and execution of store planning projects by acting as a key liaison between Headquarters (HQ) design teams and local stakeholders. This role ensures accurate localization of global design concepts, smooth communication, and timely delivery of technical marketing events, in-store events, retail events, store openings and renovations in compliance with brand standards and local requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. HQ–Local Coordination
Assist project managers for coordination between HQ design teams and local stakeholders for projects.
Facilitate localization of global store design concepts to meet local market requirements, regulations, and site conditions.
Ensure clear communication of HQ standards, updates, and approvals to local teams.
Consolidate and communicate local feedback to HQ in a structured and timely manner.
2. Project Coordination & Execution
Support the execution of technical marketing events, in-store events, retail events, new store openings, refurbishments, and closures.
Coordinate with internal teams (MKTG, Retail, Retail operations, CRM, VM, MD) and external partners (landlords, contractors, consultants).
Manage project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables.
Support alignment between HQ-approved plans and on-site execution.
3. Documentation & Approval Management
Manage the flow of drawings, layouts, and documentation between HQ and local teams in technical marketing projects in-store events, and retail events.
Track approvals (design, budget, landlord, authorities) and ensure timely completion in technical marketing projects, in-store events, and retail events.
Maintain up-to-date project records and version control.
4. Compliance & Localization
Ensure store planning aligns with local regulations, building codes, and landlord requirements.
Identify gaps between HQ standards and local constraints, and coordinate solutions.
Support compliance checks during project execution.
5. Budget & Timeline Tracking
Assist in monitoring project budgets and timelines.
Flag risks, delays, or cost impacts and coordinate mitigation actions with stakeholders.
Support procurement coordination with vendors where needed.
6. Site Coordination Support
Participate in site visits to ensure implementation aligns with HQ-approved plans.
Coordinate issue resolution between contractors, local teams, and HQ.
Support store handover readiness and opening preparation.
7. Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate store maintenance activities in partnership with the maintenance vendors.
Act as point of contact between stores, vendors, and HQ regarding maintenance issues (fixtures, finishes, lighting, etc.).
Track repair requests, timelines, and completion status.
Ensure maintenance work meets brand standards and minimizes disruption to store operations.
Support preventive maintenance planning for key store elements.
8. Warehouse & Fixture Inventory Management
Coordinate management of store fixtures, and store planning materials stored in local warehouses.
Manage accurate inventory records of fixtures, furniture, and store equipment.
Track allocation and movement of fixtures for new stores, renovations, and closures.
Coordinate logistics between warehouse, vendors, and store sites.
9. Reporting & Communication
Prepare standard project schedules and reports for management.
Maintain clear tracking tools (timelines, issue logs, action trackers) and share folders.
Ensure alignment across all parties through effective communication.
Key Requirements
Experience
3–5 years of experience in design and construction companies with project coordination, or store planning support roles.
Experience working in a global company coordinating with HQ/regional teams is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), especially in cross-cultural environments (Japanese and English).
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
Working knowledge of store planning processes and documentation (no direct design responsibility required).
Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic CAD: AutoCAD and Vector (for coordination, not design).

応募要件
· 店舗設計、建築・店舗施工管理、プロジェクトコーディネーション等の実務経験(3~5年程度)
· 日本語・英語によるコミュニケーションスキル
· 高いコミュニケーション能力・組織管理能力
· Microsoft Officeの実務経験
· AutoCAD等の基本的な操作スキルと図面理解力
