Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic finance team starting in 2026. This role is ideal for a candidate who brings strong technical and social skills in equal measure. On the technical side you must have mastery of Microsoft Excel; be fluent in keyboard shortcuts, formulae, and pivot tables. From a business partnering perspective, you must be able to communicate confidently and clearly with stakeholders who are often part of the leadership team. Above all else, you must bring a willingness and curiosity to learn, as you will play a key role in advancing our performance tracking, pricing on bids for new work, and engaging with branch personnel to support operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business development and operation teams on pricing for new work.
Own the predictive financial model for all new business.
Maintain and enhance our financial reporting suite to provide insightful analysis.
Develop strong working relationships with operations and the wider finance team.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support various business initiatives.
Learn and apply Power BI and SQL to improve reporting capabilities and data analysis.
Support month-end closing activities and assist in preparing financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or related field.
CPA is not required.
Minimum 3 years of Finance experience preferred.
Extremely high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (keyboard shortcuts, formulae and pivot tables), competency with wider Microsoft suite (PPT, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.)
Professional experience with financial concepts and reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
Excited to learn new tools and technologies, including Power BI and SQL.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. You could be a detective in another life.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
