Are you excited about bringing your skills and passion with tender management into play by contributing to winning proposals in the renewable energy sector?

Join our Global Sales organization as a Tender Manager for Energy from Waste, Bioenergy and Carbon Capture, with a particular focus on Germany, and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

Your New Role

As our new Tender Manager, you will become part of our global Sales Competence Team, leading the development of winning proposals together with experts and project managers. Your preferred location will be our office in Hamburg, although the role can also be based in one of Ramboll’s other offices in Germany or in Copenhagen, Denmark.

You will collaborate with colleagues from around the world while focusing primarily on tender management for German clients. In a growing energy market, you will help us our business within the energy sector.

Your Main Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the preparation of high-quality proposals and tender submissions in collaboration with technical experts, project managers, and other internal stakeholders.

Mobilise and manage tender teams, facilitate bid planning and strategy workshops, and ensure timely submission of compliant proposals.

Manage and lead tender opportunities through Ramboll's stage-gate approval processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal governance procedures.

Act as the main author of proposals, being responsible for structuring, drafting, and finalising bid documents, including project approaches, project programmes, references, and CVs.

Coordinate contributions from technical specialists and ensure that all proposal content is clear, consistent, and aligned with client requirements.

Identify, manage, and escalate commercial, contractual, and technical risks in collaboration with project owners and legal advisors.

Act as the pricing lead to ensure a competitive and commercially sound offer.

Maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and support our Key Account Managers.

Become part of our global Sales Competence Team and proactively develop and continuously improve our sales and business development processes and activities.

Your New Team

You will join our Global Service Line team for Energy from Waste, Bioenergy and Carbon Capture, which is recognized as a leading consultancy within this field. We provide consulting, engineering, and design services from offices in Germany, Denmark, the UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Poland, and India.

Our team operates in a truly international and dynamic environment, delivering projects worldwide. We work on projects involving:

Related sustainable energy technologies

As a Tender Manager, you will be involved in our day-to-day operations, contribute to our Sales Competence Team's Sales & Business Development activities, and be an integrated member of our wider technical organisation.
