You will lead pricing governance and trading activities for our Cereal, Nuts & Pulses portfolio. Defining pricing, translating market insights into action, optimizing margins by product group, and enabling global commercialization. You will ensure decisions are data-driven, compliant and aligned with Döhler standards.
Your role:
You implement product-specific pricing strategies in daily operations and define price corridors, discount policies, and approval thresholds
You analyze prices and margins, translate insights into concrete actions, and protect as well as contribution margins
You apply guidelines and standards for product costing, including open-book costing for key accounts, in close alignment with Sales
You prepare special costings for traded goods and intercompany pricing
You monitor commodity markets and competitors, ensuring systematic and timely price adjustments across regions
You leverage digital tools to manage approvals for customer quotations and ensure strong pricing governance
You drive value-based pricing and embed it into commercialization decisions and customer negotiations
You steer margin structures by product group and collaborate with Product Management to optimize the portfolio (e.g., stop or swap decisions) and ensure profitability
You support trading activities by negotiating commercial terms, managing exposure and positions with Procurement and Supply Chain, and ensuring contract compliance and risk control
Your profile:
You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
You bring 3–5+ years of relevant experience in B2B pricing, trading, sales, or controlling – highly motivated early-career professionals with strong relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
You have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is a plus
You demonstrate strong analytical skills, a commercial mindset, and excellent stakeholder communication, with a proven ability to influence decisions and drive cross-functional outcomes
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
You thrive in international teams within a fast-paced environment and stand out through your proactive, accountable, and eager-to-learn attitude.
