This role requires extensive, advanced-level expertise and proven leadership experience in global Quality principles, systems, and practices across complex multinational manufacturing environments. The successful candidate must possess significant experience operating within high-volume, multi-site manufacturing operations, particularly in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), SMT (Surface Mount Technology), and HLA (High-Level Assembly) environments.

The position demands deep technical specialization in:

Electromechanical systems

Automation and robotics

Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)

System integration and end-to-end product quality

System-level Quality Engineering

Field Failure Analysis (FFA)

Root Cause Analysis and advanced problem-solving methodologies

Global Quality System deployment and harmonization

Reliability and validation methodologies

Manufacturing process controls and continuous improvement frameworks

Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate extensive experience with:

Large Format Assembly (LFA) products and operations

Aftermarket services and support environments

System integration sites and manufacturing ecosystems

New Product Introduction (NPI)

Program launches and product industrialization

Design for Assembly (DFA)

Medium-to-low volume, high-mix manufacturing environments

High-volume manufacturing operations supporting complex electromechanical products

This position requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of global Quality principles and practices across multiple geographic regions and manufacturing sites, combined with the ability to influence business decisions and drive operational excellence through advanced technical and leadership capabilities.

This role operates across a multi-site, multi-partner, and customer-facing ecosystem where expertise is utilized to:

Define, drive, and execute global Quality strategies across regions, business units, and manufacturing sites.

Ensure alignment between manufacturing processes, system integration activities, quality systems, and field performance requirements.

Lead quality transformation initiatives across global operations and development organizations.

Influence strategic decision-making among senior leaders, internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external manufacturing partners.

Drive consistency and standardization of Quality systems, methodologies, and metrics across global operations.

Support LFA operations and medium-to-low volume, high-mix manufacturing environments, requiring different operational and quality approaches than traditional high-volume production.

Provide technical leadership in high-volume manufacturing environments including PCBA, SMT, and HLA operations.

Lead quality readiness activities for NPI programs, product launches, qualification efforts, and manufacturing transfers.

Ensure Design for Assembly (DFA), manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability requirements are effectively incorporated throughout the product lifecycle.

Drive systemic problem-solving efforts addressing field issues, customer escalations, manufacturing performance, and product reliability concerns.

Establish and sustain quality performance expectations across internal operations, integration sites, contract manufacturing partners, suppliers, and aftermarket service organizations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Replace the current section with:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.

Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations leadership roles within complex global manufacturing environments.

Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience managing Quality organizations, programs, and multi-site teams.

Demonstrated experience leading global Quality functions across multiple manufacturing locations and regions.

Extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, including PCBA, SMT, and HLA operations .

Proven expertise supporting Large Format Assembly (LFA) products, system integration facilities, and aftermarket service organizations.

Strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), program launches, manufacturing transfers, product industrialization, and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives.

Demonstrated success implementing and driving global Quality systems, advanced problem-solving methodologies, corrective action systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience working with complex electromechanical products, automation systems, robotics, and integrated hardware solutions is highly preferred.

Experience leading Quality organizations with responsibility across multiple development, integration, and manufacturing facilities is strongly preferred.

ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA) or equivalent professional Quality certifications are desirable.
