.NET Developer Analyst About the role
As a .NET Developer Analyst , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the development team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions. In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and produce functional and technical specifications.
Develop and optimize database solutions, including data modeling, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query performance tuning.
Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability, availability, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to Agile development practices, technical documentation, code reviews, testing, and DevOps initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality. Work model
This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at a Cognizant office in São Paulo, Brazil . What you need to have to be considered
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
Hands-on experience developing applications using C# .NET , ASP.NET Web Forms , ASP.NET MVC , and ASP.NET Core REST APIs .
Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Experience with SQL Server , including database design, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML .
Experience developing solutions in cloud environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft IIS administration and application deployment.
Familiarity with DevOps practices , including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containers, and release automation.
Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. These will help you stand out
Experience developing and automating ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) .
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
Experience working with NoSQL databases .
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish .
Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
