About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Midwest Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and supporting field service operations across the Central-West region. This role ensures exceptional customer support, high-quality service delivery, and strong team performance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You will lead a team of Field Service Engineers, helping them succeed through coaching, performance management, and resource planning. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused leader who balances operational priorities, drives KPI performance, and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like:

Lead and supervise day-to-day field service operations across the assigned region

Coach, mentor, and develop Field Service Engineers to maximize performance and customer satisfaction

Monitor service execution, workload balancing, scheduling, and regional coverage

Track key service metrics including productivity, utilization, response times, and service quality

Partner with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Resolve customer escalations and operational challenges in a timely and effective manner

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

Support workforce planning and resource allocation to meet customer commitments

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

Build and maintain a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, customer success, and operational excellence

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:

Experience in field service, technical support, or service operations environments

Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience within a technical organization

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience analyzing operational data and using insights to improve performance

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed

It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience leading geographically dispersed field service teams

Knowledge of service performance metrics, workforce planning, and resource management

Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs
