Job description

As the Teacher Trainer you would be responsible for building the capacity of Instruction Specialists/ ICT Teachers and facilitating Labs at partner government and affordable private schools to create a high-quality computer science education ecosystem for student learning. This would include exhibiting excellent training skills, teaching, a well-balanced, analytical and creative mindset to problem-solve and provide innovative solutions, along with taking the initiative to own and build a part of reflective of their own core values that concur with the organizational vision and genuinely commits themselves to ensure that the value our program adds to a student’s life is sustainable, meaningful and greater than individual motivations.

Roles & Responsibilities: ● Trainings and Capacity Building ○ Builds teachers’ capacity through conducting various training sessions as per the program and on the job assistance during monitoring visits so that they best meet their teaching-learning and school management responsibilities ○ Collect, devise and share with schools, successful teaching methodologies that can be implemented in the classroom. ○ Undertakes teachers’ training needs assessment, prepares training plans, develops training aid materials and conducts evaluation of training sessions ○ Assists Program, Curriculum Development and Research team in developing training manuals. ○ Participates in professional growth and development and stays abreast of current research through continuing education, educational seminars, workshops, conferences, membership in profession ○ Participate in sessions during the beginning of the year training programme as per the schedule shared by the organisation. ○ Participate in the monthly learning circles to share best practices with other teachersand prepare for the upcoming classes ○ Work with the Program Manager to build teaching capacity as per their feedback

● Program Delivery ○ Collects and compiles school and training data and assists the Program team in data analysis and interpretation and report development. ○ Submits accurate and proper monitoring, supervision, training, observation, and other relevant reports to the Program Team in timely manner ○ Support Program team in order to enhance the quality of basic education. ○ Ensure Optimum instructional delivery of Curriculum across the specified grades in assigned school(s). This may involve teaching(& travel) in classrooms spread across the city. ○ Creation of monthly grade specific goals and daily lesson plans with the help of Program Manager in curriculum and teaching philosophy. ○ Assess and Monitor Student Learning Outcomes and accomplishments in a variety of ways(Assessments, Projects, Quiz, etc) on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required ● Event ○ Coordinate with school authorities / teachers and support them to conduct an annual showcase for the students in your school. ○ Conduct hackathons, quizzes, field visits for students to increase interest and provide learning experiences. ○ Support Team in basic operational and program/event requirements for the annual event(s).

Pay: ₹9,436.05 - ₹39,672.91 per month
