Role:
An Associate - Accounts Receivable prepares accounts receivable transactions and processes customer payments. They also create invoices according to company practices and submit them for approval by management or the client.
Responsibilities:
Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
Preparation of workings for Revenue recognition of Goods & Services as per Ind AS.
Experience of handling export transactions.
Preparation & submission of EDPMS data to bank.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Sr. Executive or https://resources.workable.com/accounts-receivable-job-descriptionAssociate.
3+ Years of experience in the domain of accounting.
Solid understanding of https://resources.workable.com/accounting-clerk-job-description principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Zoho)
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and finance tools.
Bachelors or Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, CA Inter+
