About the role
Job Description:
Primary missión:
The Financial Controlling and Performance Management Intern will be part of the LATAM and Africa + Turkey geographical area, and its missions will be mainly oriented to:
Preparing work files (Excel, PowerPoint) necessary for closings and continuously striving to automate processes in order to provide more accurate data.
Review of the control checks in the financial system (Group consolidation tool) and contacting the entities with the aim of correcting the discrepancies.
Participating in the IFRS closings procedures (monthly, quarterly, preclosings and forecasts) making sure that the figures are correct and submitted by the entities in a timely manner.
Conducting regular and occasional business analyses.
Providing assistance to the team members on their daily tasks based upon current needs and preparing ad-hoc reports related to the perimeter.
Candidate profile:
Background and experience:
Ongoing studies (final semesters)/recent graduate, degree in Finance/Audit & Accounting/ Controlling or similar.
Previous practical experience in the field is an advantage.
Technical and professional skills:
Strong analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of the IFRS and accounting mechanisms.
Fluent in English.
Basic knowledge of the insurance industry.
Very good knowledge of Ms Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Proactive, autonomous, organized, and reliable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capacity for managing tight deadlines.
Ability to work in the international and fast-paced environment.
Initiative and agile spirit.
