Builds and maintains effective working relationships with site-based Exploration Managers and Technical Services Managers, providing guidance and support for the execution of exploration programs directed at the replacement of Reserves that meet the needs of the mine sites and corporate objectives.

Develops the annual Brownfields plan and budget through collaborative work across the different teams, and prepares the associated materials for communication to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

Supports the Chief Exploration Officer in the development of monthly and quarterly reporting of technical results – including drilling completed, significant intercepts, model updates, and other technical efforts – working to improve the communication of performance, deviations from plan, and remediation approaches.

Works with site teams to collate and report financial performance, including tracking of budget versus expenditure, forecasting of future work programs, and variances to plan.

Works closely with Investor Relations to develop press releases and the technical materials that support and illustrate them, enabling effective external engagement with investors.

Participates, as appropriate, in the evaluation of third parties for partnership or acquisition, completing technical assessment and opportunity identification.

Keeps abreast of and disseminates relevant geoscience and technological advances to maintain competitive advantage and technical excellence across the Group.
