The Role

As a Technical Lead – Appian, you’ll provide hands-on technical leadership across Pepper Technology, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality Appian-based solutions. You’ll guide squads through design and delivery, ensure alignment with enterprise standards, and help build a stable, scalable platform for the future.

This role blends deep technical expertise with people leadership, working closely with Architects, Product Owners and Engineering Managers to turn strategy into practical outcomes.

Lead solution design and technical delivery across squads

Ensure alignment with architecture, security and engineering standards

Coach and mentor engineers to uplift capability and quality

Manage technical debt and support platform stability

Contribute to Appian standards and communities of practice

Partner with stakeholders to manage dependencies and delivery priorities

About you

You’re a collaborative technical leader who enjoys being close to delivery and supporting others to succeed. You bring strong Appian experience, sound engineering judgement, and a practical approach to solving complex problems.

Extensive application development experience, including Appian

Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, databases and secure design

Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, Azure Data Platform, and data orchestration capabilities.

Experience mentoring engineers and guiding best practice

Clear communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders

Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience (Appian certification advantageous)
