The Compensation Lead develops, implements, and administers compensation programs. The Compensation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Compensation Lead is a role that requires a highly motivated and intellectually agile individual. In addition to leveraging your analytical and technical skills, you will be asked to apply business and financial acumen as well as organizational/behavioral comprehension to complex business challenges. Through diligent observation, participation and research, you will develop an understanding of business needs and objectives and then assimilate and evaluate information to generate insights and guidance within the organization.
Lead design, development and implementation of enterprise-wide compensation programs and initiatives that align with Humana’s pay objectives and business strategy
Perform research and analysis of associate, market and financial data; summarize findings and draw insights that support decision making; develop recommendations and meaningful presentations for senior leadership
Lead projects or initiatives related to market competitiveness, pay structures, recognition, career framework, pay equity, and/or pay transparency
Monitor effectiveness of compensation programs and practices; partner with Compensation team members and HR partners to identify and execute on improvements and enhancements
Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5 +years of Compensation experience or experience evaluating compensation programs and developing recommendations to meet business objectives
Advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects/assignments while working with various departments to obtain data
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Workday experience
Power BI experience
Progressive business/HR consulting and/or operational experience
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Experience advising leaders on complex business challenges

In this role you will be an individual contributor.
This role does not have travel associated.
You will report to the Director of Compensation.
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
