ABOUT THE ROLE

CHANEL boutiques are the heart of the brand’s progressive vision of style and beauty. As the showcase for CHANEL’s aspirational creations, the Boutique relies on the Local Fashion Stockist team to ensure that stock is available and accessible to allow the sales team to offer the best possible service to clients. From the management of daily deliveries and inventories to

maintenance of the stock area, to tracking orders, the Local Fashion Stockist team navigate all areas of the boutique – from the floor to the back-office – ensuring CHANEL’s highly coveted Fashion creations are in the correct place at the correct time and presented in accordance with the House’s image strategy to facilitate the selling ceremony.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

You contribute to financial health by optimising stockkeeping, so that products are easily found to facilitate the selling ceremony. You contribute to client engagement by ensuring clients do not have to wait for long to view products in the boutiques. You contribute to brand performance by ensuring the visibility of CHANEL creations thanks to efficient stock management.

You create a significant impact by:

Enabling the ultimate client journey by ensuring sales teams have access to Fashion stock:

Being co-responsible for the proper running of the Boutique in accordance with the established rules

Looking for solutions to make activity on the Boutique floor more fluid

Providing support on the floor in case of heavy traffic to facilitate the work of the sales force

Participating in the arrangement of buffer stocks

Developing a good knowledge of product lines

Contributing to the absence of inventory discrepancies

Participating in the organisation of inventories

Collaborating with the Boutique teams to ensure all métiers work together to constantly elevate the client experience

Contributing to the operational efficiency of the Fashion Boutique:

Ensure the daily reception of the product before store opening. It includes the storage of the goods at the right place in the stock, the refurbishment of the sales floor according to previous day’s sales

Ensure the stock is well organized and optimized according to the boutique internal procedures. The stock team is responsible for the tidy organization of the stock

Manage the daily transfers requests from the boutique staff and from other boutiques

Prepare and participate to the stock-takes (Rolling stock-takes should always be finished before store opening)

Analyze and help the stock manager to resolve the discrepancies related to the rolling stock-takes

Prepare the stock for the launch of new collections

Support the stock manager in the preparation of the sales preparation (relabelling, stock reorganisation)

Be polyvalent by being a link between the back-office stock and the sales floor. The stockist is constantly around the boutique to ensure that all the stockage rooms are tidy and well-organized. The stockist is also a support to the FA team to bring up the goods when needed or tidy up the changing rooms during busy times

Have a great understanding of all the KPIs related to the activity and be proactive by bringing new ideas

Collaborate with the boutique’s VM specialist: stock organization, push of the slow sellers on the sales floor

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience as Stock Assistant in the Retail sector preferably in Fashion or any other luxury brand

Excellent attention to detail

Computer proficient (Excel) and flair for figures

Ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
