With this acquisition, Amazon merged two of India’s most popular free AVOD (or ad-supported video on demand) services – MX Player and Amazon miniTV into one service - Amazon MX Player. A successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing, able to develop and drive a high-level test strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy. He / She will leverage AI to scale quality testing and drive stronger outcomes.

In this role, you will:

Work with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements

Understand how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy

Be responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses

Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution

Work with a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product delivery

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

Experience in automation testing

Experience in manual testing

Experience testing web technologies and back-end services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Experience (technical and operational) with multiple domain areas of programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, etc.)
