Senior Technical Solution Consultant – Credit Risk

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Technical Solution Consultant to lead the technical solution delivery of Credit Risk initiatives within the banking domain. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring successful project execution.

You will work closely with clients, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and offshore development teams to define solution architecture, produce technical specifications, perform impact assessments, and oversee the quality of technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Business Analysis

Conduct technical workshops with clients and business stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system design.

Produce high-quality Product Design Documents, Technical Specifications, and system integration documentation.

Recommend solution approaches and best practices based on business needs and product capabilities.

Technical Delivery

Perform technical impact assessments, effort estimation, and solution feasibility analysis for new initiatives and change requests.

Support project planning by identifying technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

Ensure technical deliverables align with project scope, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and direction to offshore development teams throughout project execution.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA, and Production Support teams to resolve technical issues.

Review technical deliverables to ensure consistency with approved solution designs and technical specifications.

Drive adherence to development standards, project methodology, and continuous improvement practices.

Testing & Implementation Support

Support system integration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Assist in troubleshooting functional and technical issues during implementation and production readiness.

Support deployment activities and technical validation throughout the project lifecycle.

ABOUT YOU

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

7+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution design, or enterprise application delivery within the banking or financial services industry.

Proven experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and functional system designs.

Experience producing technical design documentation, solution specifications, and integration documentation.

Experience leading technical discussions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Experience coordinating technical delivery across distributed or offshore development teams.

Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, including solution design, implementation, testing, and production rollout.

Strong understanding of Credit Risk, Lending, or Banking applications is highly preferred.

Experience delivering enterprise banking solutions or financial services technology projects.
