General Description of the Role

The HR Intern at Canale Plant joins a hands-on HR team embedded in one of Campari Group's Italian production sites, home to the production of iconic brands including Aperol, Sarti, Riccadonna, Braulio. This role offers a genuine 360° HR experience: from day-to-day administration and industrial relations to talent management, performance processes, and learning - all within the specific rhythm and culture of a manufacturing environment.

Beyond generalist exposure, the intern will play an active role in two strategic site initiatives: supporting the change management process for the digitalization of time and attendance systems, and contributing to recruitment for a production insourcing project.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

Support the Plant HR Administration Specialist in day-to-day HR administration: personnel records, contract management, attendance tracking, and local compliance documentation

Contribute to the digitalization project of the time and attendance process, including change management (training, communication support, user adoption follow-up, and coordination with the relevant IT and operations stakeholders)

Support end-to-end recruitment activities for a relevant production insourcing project liaising with external recruitment agencies (Job description definition, CV screening, interview scheduling, onboarding coordination)

Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in HR administrative tasks, document management, and reporting where applicable

Lead the digitalization of the plant's paper HR archive: scanning, indexing, and organizing documents in the HR digital repository in compliance with data privacy requirements

Contribute to the development of a unified skill matrix and performance management process definition for operators

Assist in the coordination of learning and development activities at the plant

Exposure to industrial relations activities at site level

Contribute to internal communication initiatives aimed at engaging the plant workforce across all levels

Key Relationships

Internal: Senior HR Manager Italian Plants, HR Administration Specialist, Plant Director and Plant Leadership Team, Team Leaders, Shopfloor Operators, HSE function, Group HR CoEs for process alignment

External: Recruitment agencies and training providers, payroll provider

Requirements - Education & Experience

Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Psychology (organizational track), or Economics with an HR specialization - preferred

0–6 months of work or internship experience (curricular or post-degree)

Prior exposure to manufacturing, production, or industrial environments is a plus - not required

Hard Skills

Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Familiarity with HR information systems or willingness to learn quickly (SuccessFactors experience is a plus)

Good understanding of Italian labor law and CCNL framework - or strong motivation to develop it

Document management and digital archiving skills

Comfort with AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, or equivalent) for data analysis, workflow automation, agents creation

Data entry accuracy and attention to detail in administrative processes

Soft Skills

Learning agility: actively seeks new knowledge, adapts quickly, and applies learning in real situations - comfortable in environments where not everything is defined in advance

Can-do attitude: takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and approaches challenges with energy rather than hesitation

Interpersonal range: able to build genuine, respectful relationships across all levels of the organization - from the Plant Director to shopfloor operators - adapting communication style to context

Curiosity about people and organizations: genuine interest in how HR shapes culture, performance, and industrial relations in a production environment

Discretion and reliability: handles sensitive personnel information with confidentiality and professional judgment

Additional Requirements

Full professional proficiency in Italian (written and spoken) - required

English at B1–B2 level - useful for interacting with Group HR tools, documentation and central functions

Availability to be present on-site at Canale (CN) - this is a plant-based role; remote work is not the primary modality
