Job responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable Intern will apply and complement theoretical knowledge, develop the work competences, and acquire a practical experience through different tasks and responsibilities:
Monitor and manage overdue debts for all companies, particularly in the Andorra and Canary Islands regions, collaborating closely with the respective area manager.
Record all received payment documents (cheques, transfers, promissory notes, advance payments).
Promptly handle the processing, recording, and active pursuit of all outstanding payments. Provide daily updates on such outstanding accounts to Sales Representatives and relevant personnel for proper control, follow-up, order blocking, etc.
Reconcile customer accounts by year-end, preparing and pursuing customer circularization for audit purposes.
Control and monitor customer charges to ensure timely resolution, preventing end-of-month debt issues.
Track and manage invoice issues, sending requested documentation copies to customers to facilitate timely payments.
Proactively inform clients of upcoming deadlines, payment statuses, etc. Ensure that invoice discrepancies have been addressed and required documentation has been sent to the customer for payment in the corresponding period.
Provide the brand's management and financial teams with updates on customer accounts, debts, outstanding discounted charges pending resolution, and any other relevant issues.

PROFILE NEEDED
MAIN STUDIES Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field. Important: Must be eligible to sign a 6-month internship agreement through an official university.
LANGUAGES English (Fluent C1) French is a plus.
IT TOOLS Proficient in Windows, MS Office and SAP
EXPERIENCE Previous experience in an IT department is a plus.
