As Business Product Manager you will maximize revenue and profitability of an existing family or families of products within a Product Group’s portfolio. You own the Pricing and Go to Market (G2M) strategy for running portfolios.
The role requires profound knowledge and experience in pricing strategies, channel management and negotiation. Furthermore, a strong ability to manage a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, including customers is required.
What you will do
Drive revenue and profitability of the assigned product segment by being hungry and willing to win in a challenging and dynamic business environment
Be the business partner for Business Group (BG) Marketing and Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) in the assigned product portfolio (manufacturing strategy, benefits, longevity etc.)
Develop key customer & channel strategies together with Product Group Head, Business Marketing Managers, Product Marketing Managers and GSM
Own the pricing tactics and quote policies for all sales channels for Commercial Marketing in alignment with Product Marketing Managers, Business Marketing Managers and in line with overall Product Group target settings
Build & maintain G2M material
Competitor analysis: consolidate input from regions about competitor behaviors, especially pricing strategy at Distribution and OEM channel, inputting (to Industrial) for required cost down roadmaps to reach Product Group margin targets
Forecasting: align with Demand Management in line with forecast process
Manage pricing strategy, price setting and special offers for business via Distribution partners
Drive design-in/design-win success through organizing necessary support to BG Marketing and GSM
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in alignment with BG Marketing and GSM.
What you will need
University degree in electrical and electronic engineering or other related discipline
Min. 5 years’ experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in the Semiconductor industry
Proven track record of product (lifecycle) management, with strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, preferably with exposure to international customers
Strong individual accountability, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to establish lasting relationships and networks in a complex environment across different levels of hierarchies and various stakeholders in a multiple culture environment
Direct work experience with Power semiconductors or previous experience in product line is preferred
Knowledge of key business metrics and strong negotiation skills
Business fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally
