About Alinta Energy
At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for Australia. You’ll work on challenges that matter, alongside people who are approachable, supportive and invested in your growth, in a business where your contribution is visible from day one.
Big Careers Start With Real Experience
Ready to step into a role where you’re working behind the scenes to make software faster, safer and more scalable across an entire organisation? Kick-start your career in software engineering within a team focused on platform engineering, DevOps and engineering excellence.
As a Software Engineering Graduate, you’ll join our Customer Technology Team in a permanent role from day one, working across multiple teams to solve complex technical challenges and improve how software is built and delivered. Rather than focusing on a single product, you’ll gain exposure to the broader technology landscape, building platforms, pipelines and shared services that support other developers.
Over the two-year program, you’ll build capability in cloud engineering, DevOps and system design, with rotations across different areas before returning to your home team long-term.
Your graduate journey begins with an induction week, bringing your cohort together in Melbourne to meet each other, pull on some hi vis to explore our Melbourne sites, and listen in on real customer calls at our contact centre.
