Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management roles within retail or sales environments. Duties

Lead and supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organisational standards.

Manage and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment centred on teamwork and professional development.

Oversee sales and merchandising activities, implementing strategies to maximise revenue and optimise product presentation.

Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes, improve customer service, and enhance overall organisational performance.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices in line with company objectives.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining organisational records.

Handle client interactions with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams within retail or sales sectors.

Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and merchandising.

Previous experience in retail management or sales management is preferred.

Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Experience in supervising staff, managing budgets, and implementing operational improvements.

Exceptional interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and conflict resolution capabilities.
