About the role

About Omninet Capital LLC

Omninet Capital is a vertically integrated private real estate investment and property management firm headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. Founded and led by its principals, the firm owns and operates a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets across the United States, with approximately 300 professionals managing the platform end-to-end - from acquisitions, capital markets, and asset management to property operations, construction, accounting, legal, and technology.

Our edge is operational. Because we underwrite, close, and operate our own assets, every member of the acquisitions team works alongside the people ultimately responsible for executing the business plan. We combine institutional rigor with the speed and conviction of a principal investor, while increasingly leveraging AI and automation to accelerate underwriting, sharpen decision-making, and uncover opportunities others miss.

Job Summary

At Omninet Capital, we believe operational excellence extends to how we manage people. We are looking for an HR Manager who understands that great HR is both principled and personal – someone who leads with sound judgment and empathy, while building strong systems that make the work consistent and scalable.

This role is responsible for employee relations, payroll management, benefits administration, and multi-state compliance across a geographically dispersed workforce. It requires a steady operator – someone who can navigate complex employee matters with objectivity and sensitivity, and who is equally comfortable strengthening processes, leveraging technology and driving disciplined execution.

This position requires 20% travel to support property teams directly and partner with the Chief People Officer and regional leadership.

Coach managers and property leadership on best practices for employee engagement, documentation, corrective action, and terminations.

Lead and document internal investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.

Support leave management (FMLA, ADA, state‑specific leaves) and accommodations in partnership with leadership and external vendors.

Leadership & Multifamily Business Partnership

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, property managers, and regional leaders on people‑related decisions.

Strengthen the operating norms that drive performance, professionalism, and respectful workplace conduct.

HR Operations & Policy

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes for both corporate and property‑level employees.

Partner with Finance and Operations on headcount planning, payroll forecasting, and workforce reporting.

Ensure consistent application of HR practices across geographically dispersed properties.

Payroll & Compliance

Oversee multi‑state payroll processes for salaried and hourly employees, including on‑site property staff.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

Partner with third‑party payroll providers to manage audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and payroll systems; ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, with direct responsibility for payroll and employee relations

Direct experience working within a multifamily property management company and a strong understanding of the employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and operational challenges unique to a geographically dispersed property management workforce.

Demonstrated experience managing multi state payroll and labor compliance
