Job Summary

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV is seeking enthusiastic and driven Finance Co-op/Interns to support our finance department. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various financial operations within a global automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with financial reporting and analysis, including preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Participate in month-end and year-end close activities.

Help with data entry, reconciliation of financial records, and maintenance of financial databases.

Conduct research and analysis on financial trends, market conditions, and competitor performance.

Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management.

Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and support business decisions.

Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Job Qualifications**

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong academic record.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
