About the role
We’re hiring a Project Manager to support hardware product and infrastructure projects with ODMs and contract manufacturers. Under the direction of a Senior PM, you’ll help track NPI milestones, maintain schedules and status reports, coordinate cross‑functional work, and assist with issue resolution during prototypes and production ramps.
Key responsibilities
Support planning, tracking, and delivery activities for hardware projects (NPI, production ramps, product updates) with ODMs and contract manufacturers.
Maintain project schedules, action logs, risk registers, and milestone reports; prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
Coordinate communications and meeting logistics across engineering, QA, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and operations teams.
Assist with scope/change control documentation and follow up on open issues to reduce schedule slips.
Participate in Agile rituals and program governance (standups, sprint planning, stage‑gate meetings) as assigned.
Monitor basic KPIs (schedule adherence, open issues, basic quality indicators) and support continuous improvement actions.
Help execute validation and test plans; collect test results and provide documentation for acceptance reviews.
Support root‑cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions in partnership with quality and supplier teams.
Assist with handover documentation and training materials to operations and support teams.
Travel occasionally to supplier or ODM sites as required.
Required qualifications
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Complete Bachelor's degree
1–2 years relevant experience (internships, co‑op, project or manufacturing support roles welcome) supporting engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain projects.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, run meetings, and keep clear written records.
Familiarity with Agile concepts and basic program management practices; willingness to learn PMP/Stage‑Gate processes.
Comfortable using project tools (JIRA/Confluence, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar); able to build simple dashboards and status reports.
Preferred
Hands‑on exposure to hardware NPI, manufacturing processes, or supplier coordination.
Understanding of BOMs, supply chain concepts, or manufacturing quality systems (ISO basics).
Experience working with distributed/global teams.
