Job Description :

Technical Skills

. Java/J2EE Architecture: Deep expertise in Java development is essential, as Calypso is built on a Java based framework.

. Calypso API & Customization: Ability to extend the core platform using custom engines, scheduled tasks, data servers, and custom windows.

. Database Management: Strong SQL skills, along with experience managing data on relational databases like Oracle, Sybase, or PostgreSQL.

. Messaging & Integration: Hands on experience with middleware tools (like MQ, TIBCO, or Kafka) and data formats (like FpML, XML, or SWIFT) for system interfaces.

. Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with modern deployment frameworks, including AWS or Azure, alongside CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).

Functional & Business Knowledge

. Asset Class Mastery: Understanding the pricing, lifecycles, and logic of multiple financial products (Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, Equities, and Derivatives).

. Front to Back Workflows: Comprehension of trade lifecycles, from trade capture and pricing to middle office risk analysis and back office clearing and accounting.

. Collateral Management: Practical knowledge of margin calls, inventory management, optimization, and regulatory mandates like UMR (Uncleared Margin Rules).

. Risk & Regulatory Reporting: Understanding how to compute and manage Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), Value at Risk (VaR), and Basel compliance metrics.
