About the role
[What the role is]
You will be working in the School of Applied Science to plan, develop and teach food science and technology specialised learning units for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners.
[What you will be working on]
Responsible for curriculum development and delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET).
Coach and mentor students and be involved in student development activities beyond the classroom.
Collaborate with industry to enhance students’ learning.
Participate in committees and contribute to administrative/ management tasks

[What we are looking for]
Relevant qualification in Food Science & Technology or related degree
Minimum 3 years of industry experience in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Exposure to food business development and marketing will be an added advantage.
Passionate about training, mentoring and motivating youth and adult learners
Proficient in IT applications. Familiarity with data analytics and AI tools will be an added advantage.
People-oriented individual with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Keen interest in developing new capabilities through projects and self-learning
