About the role

DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic Design & Innovation team and become a pivotal part of Amazon's infrastructure expansion across Europe. You will play a critical role in designing our global logistics network, supporting the development of delivery stations and fulfillment centers.

This role offers structured learning opportunities while contributing to Amazon's infrastructure expansion.

Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures? The role will be based in Madrid/Milan with 50% of time traveling either domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.

The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Logistics, Delivery and Shipping Sector. The position is classified at level 2 or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience.

Key job responsibilities

Support the E2E design of AMZN infrastructure , providing comprehensive technical feedback, design oversight and quality assessment

Drive design and value engineering initiatives to foster innovation, enhance customer experience and sustainability and reduce the cost to serve

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

Maintain meticulous project documentation and tracking systems

Learn and apply best practices in pre-construction and construction processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, Owner's project management representative or in other Commercial Development and Construction related disciplines

Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership

Proficient user in English (C1) and local language

Analytical and organizational capabilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations, temperature-controlled environments are considered a strong plus

French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.

Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.

In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
