The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives on ownership, leadership, and delivering outstanding project outcomes.

This is more than a project management role - you’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple commercial fire protection projects, driving safety, quality, programme, commercial performance, and client satisfaction from project award through to completion.

Working closely with clients, builders, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standard.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you’ll join a collaborative leadership team where your expertise is valued, your decisions make an impact, and your career can continue to grow.

Project Delivery

Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.

Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, programme, and commercial performance.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Oversee project documentation, reporting, forecasting, and contract administration.

Support procurement activities, tender reviews, and project planning.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants, and key stakeholders.

Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Resolve challenges quickly while maintaining positive commercial relationships.

Deliver an exceptional client experience from commencement through to project completion.

Technical & Commercial Excellence

Interpret construction drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and relevant building codes.

Monitor project costs, variations, procurement, and financial performance.

Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across project delivery.

Ensure quality assurance processes and project procedures are consistently followed.

Safety & Culture

Lead by example, promoting a strong culture of safety across every project.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.

Champion Force Fire’s values of ownership, teamwork, hard work, safety, and adaptability.

What You Bring

Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally within the fire protection industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Excellent commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets, programmes, and contractual obligations.

Sound understanding of Australian construction practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Experience interpreting construction drawings and technical documentation.

CAD experience, with HYENA hydraulic calculation software experience highly regarded.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Why Join Force Fire?

Deliver complex, high-profile commercial projects that make a real impact.
