Reports To: Head of Engineering
At Statseeker, we are transforming the way we build enterprise software.
Following an extensive engineering and product delivery review led by an internationally experienced software engineering consultant, we are implementing a modern software delivery model focused on predictable delivery, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.
As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to establish and lead our Quality Engineering function.
This is more than a traditional QA management role.
You will define how quality is built into our software development lifecycle, working closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Customer Success, and Support to ensure quality is embedded from planning through production. Rather than simply managing testing activities, you will build the quality systems, practices, and culture that enable engineering teams to consistently deliver reliable, enterprise-grade software.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead the development of Statseeker’s Quality Management System while partnering with our newly established Product Delivery function to improve release predictability, software quality, and engineering performance.
A key objective of this role is implementing a Left Shift Quality strategy embedding testing practices, automation, and quality ownership into the engineering teams so that quality becomes everyone’s responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish and lead Statseeker’s Quality Engineering function.
· Develop and continuously improve our Quality Management System.
· Define testing standards, methodologies, and quality governance.
· Lead release readiness reviews and quality risk assessments.
· Build and automated testing capabilities.
· Partner with Product Delivery during backlog refinement, planning, and release activities.
· Champion the Three Amigos approach to ensure business, engineering, and QA collaborate before development begins.
· Drive quality metrics, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Coach engineering teams in modern testing practices and quality ownership.
· Work closely with DevOps to improve deployment confidence and release reliability.
· Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
What You’ll BringEssential
· Experience leading Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering teams.
· Strong understanding of Agile software development.
· Experience developing quality management processes and testing strategies.
· Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD environments.
· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
· A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching and mentoring technical teams.
Highly Desirable
· Software development experience.
· Experience implementing or leading a Left Shift Quality strategy.
· Experience working within enterprise software environments.
· Network monitoring, infrastructure management, or systems software experience.
· Experience supporting engineering transformation initiatives.
Success in This Role
During your first 12 months, you will:
· Establish a modern Quality Management System.
· Improve release predictability and product quality.
· Increase automated testing coverage.
· Introduce measurable quality metrics and reporting.
· Embed quality earlier within the software development lifecycle.
· Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, DevOps, Customer Success, and Support.
· Help create a culture where quality is owned by every engineer.
Why Join Statseeker?

You will have the autonomy to build new practices, influence how software is delivered, and make a lasting impact on our products, our customers, and our engineering culture.
