About the role
About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead delivery of our Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI roadmap - spanning optimization, forecasting, and advanced analytics initiatives - from business case through production. You will be the connective tissue between Data Science, Data Engineering, Operations, and executive leadership, turning ambiguous business goals into scoped, sequenced, de-risked delivery plans, and making sure programs actually ship.
What You'll Do
Program Delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of Data Science, ML, and AI programs - from scoping through production deployment and adoption.
Build and maintain roadmaps, project plans, milestones, and resourcing across Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business/Operations stakeholders.
Run Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and own program-level risk, dependency, and blocker resolution.
Stakeholder & Executive Management
Translate business priorities into scoped technical deliverables alongside Data Science and Engineering leads.
Own executive-level status reporting and decision-making forums; manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent programs.
Technical & Data Science Oversight
Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to track model development, validation, deployment, and adoption; support model lifecycle and governance processes.
Coordinate with Data Engineering on pipelines, cloud infrastructure (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake), and technical readiness ahead of launch.
Facilitate architecture and technical design reviews - without owning the technical decisions yourself.
Team Leadership
Mentor project managers, scrum masters, and technical leads; establish delivery best practices and program governance across teams.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Program Management, Technical Project Management, or Product Delivery, including 5+ years specifically managing Data Science, ML, AI, or Analytics programs.
Working knowledge of the ML lifecycle, predictive analytics, and data engineering concepts - you don't need to build the models, but you need to speak the language fluently with those who do.
Experience running large, multi-team enterprise technology programs using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent).
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to run multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Data Science/Analytics is a plus.
PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or Scrum Master certification.
Experience with MLOps and model governance, AI/ML platform rollouts, or data governance and data quality programs.
Background in optimization/Operations Research-driven programs, supply chain, retail, or logistics.
