Sr Data Scientist – Artificial Intelligence & Manufacturing Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team and drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role will leverage data science, machine learning, and AI technologies to optimize processes, improve operational performance, and deliver data-driven solutions that create measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with experience developing and deploying AI/ML models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and transforming complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities

Design, develop, validate, and deploy Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and solve complex operational challenges.

Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques to generate business and manufacturing insights.

Develop AI solutions using technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Support the integration and implementation of AI solutions into manufacturing and operational environments.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business teams to identify opportunities where data science can drive improvements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, protocols, reports, and development records following quality and compliance expectations.

Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by applying digital technologies and innovative data-driven approaches.

Ensure solutions align with quality systems, documentation practices, and operational compliance requirements.

Manage projects effectively while balancing technical execution, timelines, and business priorities.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

Doctorate degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Master’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR Associate degree plus 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR High School diploma/GED plus 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.

Specialized coursework or certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or AI model development.

Experience providing manufacturing support; experience in vial filling or similar pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience deploying or integrating AI/ML solutions into manufacturing or operational environments.

Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, software development, and modern digital technologies.

Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models for process optimization, automation, or task improvement.

Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP or similar statistical software.

Experience creating technical documentation, development records, protocols, and technical reports.

Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and regulated industry compliance requirements.

Strong project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Strong attention to detail with a quality and compliance-focused mindset.

Proficiency using AI tools, digital technologies, and advanced computer applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
