About the role

Manage and support Oracle database environments including 11g, 12c, and multitenant architectures.

Perform advanced performance tuning at query, database, and memory levels to ensure optimal system performance.

Implement and manage high availability solutions such as RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Exadata.

Configure and maintain Oracle GoldenGate , including high availability setups.

Execute backup and recovery strategies ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including escalations, with strong troubleshooting methodologies.

Collaborate with Oracle Development and Support teams to resolve critical customer issues.

Identify and recommend proactive improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and security.

10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA / Consultant / Support Engineer.

Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c) and core DBA functions.

Deep knowledge of performance tuning (SQL/query tuning, DB tuning, memory tuning).

Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and Backup & Recovery .

Working knowledge of Oracle Multitenant architecture .

Experience implementing high availability solutions .

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to manage escalated technical situations and drive resolution plans.

Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment .
