Job Purpose

Assist in identifying improvement opportunities and business case. Facilitate in preparing business KPIs from the identified / proposed solutions. Bridge between the project team and business SMEs and gather inputs during the project phase.

It is imperative to understand the business processes and market dynamics in detail, and then identify opportunities for IT interventions to benefit business. This requires knowledge of business as well as technology so that the improvement opportunities identified are very relevant to the business and the solutions proposed provide high returns

Continually identifying opportunities for IT improvements and finding and proposing solutions

Gaining buy-in of stakeholders for business cases on IT improvements

Convincing the business of benefits from investment in IT. Quantifying tangible returns from IT investments

Managing seamless flow of information from the business to the IT team

1.Identify opportunity and improvements for automation.

Regular interaction with business users to identify improvements.

Benchmarking with global standards for improvements.

2.Business case preparation

Assist BRM in preparing business case for the identified areas and related documentation/presentation preparation

Document results of business analysis and obtaining sign-off from Functional Heads.

Assist BRM in developing KPIs for tracking improvements and reporting of same after delivery of project.

3.Requirements gathering

Gather, analyze and define detailed requirements

Analyze the issues at hand in depth. Conduct the root cause analysis of the issues to be able to convey the right requirements to the project team.

4.Project delivery

Communicate the business directives, goals, and requirements to the functional experts in the project team.

Serve as business interface from the division’s management team managing expectations and defining business satisfaction metrics.

Involved in the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - investigation, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance by establishing requirements, managing the requirements and verifying the fulfillment of the requirements.

Assist in designing and executing test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet ROI objectives.

Assist Quality Executive in defining quality criteria for the project.

Design methods and tools for benefits tracking for the project on the basis of criteria defined by the BRM.

Communicate any foreseen issues related to the project to the BRM for him to highlight to the concerned stakeholders.

5. Project implementation support

Conduct meetings at all levels of management for purposes of presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc.

In coordination with the Functional Head and project team, facilitate UAT

Facilitate user trainings in coordination with Training Manager to ensure high acceptance and ease of use of the product by end users.

Assist BRM in driving usage of system to realize projected benefits
