About the role

Our mission at Too Good To Go is to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. It's a big mission, and that's where you come in!

At Too Good To Go, you'll join a team that cares about developing strategic partnerships, making value-based decisions, and finding innovative solutions to the world's food waste crisis. You'll join an elite team to elevate our growth and collaborate daily with world-class minds - while doing work that's both high-impact and deeply meaningful.

The Role

As the Consumer Marketing Lead for North America, you will have the ultimate responsibility of accelerating consumer demand across the US and Canada while building a sustainable, world-class brand. In this high-impact role, you will act as a strategic right-hand to the Head of Marketing for North America, owning the overarching consumer marketing engine and defining a new category of marketplaces.

You are a creative marketer who isn't afraid to push boundaries, but you back up your big ideas with rigorous data fluency and execution. As an exceptional people leader, you will directly manage and mentor a high-performing B2C marketing team of 3 (Sr Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, CRM Manager). You will drive local innovation, advocate for the North American consumer, and seamlessly collaborate with our Global leaders to scale our marketplace.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Brand Vision

Strategy Ownership: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to shape, define, and roll out the comprehensive B2C and brand strategy for North America.

Creative Boundary Pushing: Lead the development of consumer-facing content and storytelling, conceptualizing innovative campaigns that bring the Too Good To Go brand to life and disrupt the market.

Marketplace Optimization: Develop, apply, and test growth marketing tactics to optimize user acquisition, frequency, and marketplace density across the US and Canada.

Team Management & People Leadership

Team Development: Directly lead, mentor, and inspire the local B2C team (CRM, Integrated Campaigns, Social, Brand) to consistently deliver exceptionally creative and high-quality work.

Culture & Performance: Foster a high-performance culture within your pod, encouraging autonomy, continuous experimentation, and accountability while aligning individual growth with business objectives.

Omnichannel Integration & Global Collaboration

Integrated Communications: Deliver outstanding integrated marketing communications across multiple consumer touchpoints (including digital, social, CRM, web, and partner communications) ensuring measurable business impact.

Global Matrix Collaboration: Partner seamlessly within a global matrix organization, partnering with Global Centers of Excellence (CRM, Paid UA, Brand, Creative) to obtain support, localize tools, and champion North American innovation.

B2B2C Support: Collaborate with the Partner Marketing team to support co-marketing initiatives with prospective and existing partners, including some of the largest food retail brands in North America.

Data, Insights & Impact

Consumer Insights Champion: Leverage data, consumer research, and brand tracking metrics to deeply understand US and Canadian consumer segments and continuously optimize marketing activities.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Move far beyond vanity metrics. Audit campaign health, user lifecycle journeys, and acquisition costs to ruthlessly prioritize high-impact marketing initiatives.

Requirements

The Experience: 6+ years of experience in consumer marketing with a proven track record of full-funnel consumer demand generation, acquisition, and retention. Experience within a high-growth app or mobile-first marketplace environment is highly preferred.

People Leadership: Minimum 2–3 years of people management experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary marketing teams

Creative & Strategic Thinker: Equal parts creative visionary and operator. You can design an overarching brand strategy, align global frameworks, and actively push your team to deliver boundary-breaking creative work.

Data Fluency: A strong data-driven mindset with a proven track record of using complex data, market research, and testing frameworks to make better strategic decisions and measure true business impact.

Matrix Organization Navigation: Excellent collaboration skills with experience navigating global organizations, obtaining stakeholder buy-in, and managing multiple cross-functional relationships across PR, UA, and Creative.

Agility & Prioritization: A proven track record of operating in a fast-evolving, high-growth organization, with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize resources and adapt quickly to market needs.

What it takes to succeed

We are looking for people who are energized by the opportunity and driven by the discipline it takes to achieve it. Too Good To Go is building a high performing team where the right people thrive by holding themselves and each other to these standards. If you are looking for a place to grow, own your work, and make an impact - you'll fit right in.

To succeed here, you'll need to embody these four principles:

Choose Excellence over Ease: You take initiative and prioritize long-term impact over short-term comfort, consistently pushing for exceptional quality rather than settling for "good enough."

Demonstrate Integrity and Responsibility: You do the right thing when no one is watching. You recognize your own agency to influence outcomes and take responsibility - meeting setbacks with solutions and humility rather than excuses.

Seek Honesty: You ask questions and prioritize truth over comfort, welcoming candid feedback, and addressing performance directly to ensure we never stop improving.

Bring Energy and Joy to the Journey: You take responsibility for the energy you bring to the team, finding meaning in the work while celebrating our shared wins and lessons.
