As a Product Manager in consumer and community banking, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers

Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap

Identifies customer needs and pain points through research and feedback, translating insights into business cases for new features

Acts as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding platform capabilities and roadmap

Resolves stakeholder issues by providing timely support and ensuring effective communication

Translates business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories

Oversees the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization

Ensures the platform meets security, compliance, and reliability standards

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

Strong understanding of streaming data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, Trino, Clickhouse Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hubs

Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, and modern data architectures

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization

Experience in working with real-time analytics

Proficient knowledge of product development in streaming and real-time platforms

Experience in product or platform-wide release management and deployment strategies

Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes

Exposure to cloud technologies
