About the role
Reports to: Director & Head of Gifting and Finance Transformation
The Role
We are looking for a versatile, high-impact manager to bridge the gap between our commercial gifting operations and our financial evolution. In this "double-hat" role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our gifting products while simultaneously managing strategic projects to modernize our financial systems and processes. You are the link between "What the consumer wants" and "How the business operates efficiently."
Key Responsibilities
1. Gifting Product Management & Compliance
Product Management: Support to define and execute the product roadmap for the gifting portfolio, ensuring alignment with multiple stakeholders.
Compliance: Manage compliance and reporting across different gifting products
Commercial Performance: Manage margins, pricing, and inventory health to ensure the gifting segment meets its targets.
2. Finance Transformation & Systems
Process Re-engineering: Audit existing financial workflows and design "future-state" processes that reduce manual touchpoints and increase accuracy.
Systems Integration: Act as the functional lead for implementing or upgrading financial modules (ERP/E-commerce integrations), ensuring they serve the needs of the gifting business.
Data Governance: Establish frameworks for financial reporting that provide real-time visibility into product performance and business unit health.
3. Project Management & Execution
Manage cross-functional projects through the design, testing, and deployment phases of both product launches and system overhauls.
Utilize Agile or Lean methodologies to ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Technical & Professional Expertise
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering. An MBA, Marketing, Psychology or professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
Process Design: Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar process improvement frameworks.
Finance Knowledge: Experience in finance transformation, processes and systems
Systems Fluency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Soft Skills & Leadership
Stakeholder Orchestration: The ability to influence diverse groups - from creative designers and warehouse managers to the CFO and external vendors.
Change Management: A resilient mindset with the ability to lead teams through the "messy middle" of digital and cultural transformation.
Consumer Intuition: An innate curiosity about why people buy gifts and the ability to translate that "feeling" into a scalable product.
Strategic Communication: The ability to distill complex financial data or technical hurdles into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
