eTEST & VALIDATION MANAGER

MISSION

Definition of a common V&V (Verification & Validation) strategy, which reduces costs and time for V&V activities and ensures high and standard-conform quality of the tested products. Actively harmonize the different ways of testing across Ficosa.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the Validation and Test Strategy according to Ficosa Development Process (FDS) and the SPICE quality processes.

Ownership and leadership of the activities of, at least, System Qualification Test and System Integration Test.

Collaboration with Quality and Regulatory Compliance teams to ensure compliance of the product with the different regulatory requirements.

Plan and report the activities on the progress and overall status.

Organize and plan the outsourcing strategy for Test and Validation activities. Collect, report, verify, validate and maintain test execution metrics (related KPIs, cost of quality). Analyze error rates.

Managing team, and managing test facilities and equipment, guide validation engineers providing directions and feedback and provide technical support.

Lead the communication with client regarding to the test reporting. Analize customer compliances and implement all actions plan.

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.

Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:

Bachelor’s degree

Languages:

Fluent English (spoken & written)

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Test & Validation in an international automotive industry

SW/HW Design or related field in the Electronics/software products industry

Previous management experience including engineering teams, resources and budget management

Travel:

Willing to travel

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:

Knowledge in Computer Science, telecommunications or electronics ISTQB, test management tools and process, programming languages MBA would be of additional value
