What’s the opportunity?

Reporting to the Senior Mine Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our Cowal Gold Operation near West Wyalong, NSW. Working a 5:2/4:3 residential roster on a 12 month fixed term contract, you'll partner with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, reporting and analysis that drive performance and informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

Financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.

Providing commercial insights to operational stakeholders.

Supporting performance improvement and cost leadership initiatives.

Strengthening financial controls, data quality and business processes.

Does this sound like you?

You'll be commercially minded, analytical and collaborative, with:

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.

Experience in financial or management accounting.

Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable:

CA, CPA or CIMA qualification (or working towards completion).

Experience with Pronto, Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting tools.
