Sales Lead & Park Caretaker

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and dependable Sales Lead & Park Caretaker to help grow campground occupancy while delivering on broader guest experience. This role focuses on sales, reservations, guest services, and park maintenance coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, enjoys interacting with people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. You’ll work closely with the Store Lead and Park Operations/Maintenance Lead to ensure guests receive exceptional service while supporting the continued growth of the campground.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Reservations

Manage transient campsite reservations and maximize campground occupancy during season, using reservations systems (e.g., RezEx)

Promote and secure seasonal campsite bookings and renewals for current and next year

Respond promptly to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms

Maintain accurate reservation records and bookkeeping in our reservation software system

Issue Monthly utility bills to campers - meter reading, unit metric calculations, and issuance of bills

Act as Airbnb host

Coordination & Administration

Coordinate with the Store Lead and Maintenance Lead to ensure guest requests and campground needs are handled efficiently.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

Work with town departments and local authorities on campground-related matters.

Help ensure campground rules are followed and professionally address guest policy violations when necessary.

Qualifications

Experience in sales, hospitality, campground operations, property management, retail, or customer service.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable using reservation systems, email, and basic computer applications.

Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
