As a Senior Business Developer, your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities while cultivating long-term relationships with potential customers. You will promote and sell GreenPowerMonitor (GPM) portfolio of hardware and software solutions for monitoring and managing renewable energy assets across Mexico. By aligning our offerings with customer needs, you will play a key role in driving business growth.
The position will report to our DNV office based in Mexico City, Mexico.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute strategies for managing the sales pipeline, lead generation, contract negotiations, and order intake throughout Mexico.
Identify potential customers, establish new partnerships, clearly explain technical features and value prepositions of GPM solutions, including advanced analytics in detail.
Build and nurture trusted business relationships with both current and new customers to foster long-term partnerships.
Translate customer's technical specifications into comprehensive techno-commercial proposals that align with their operational and financial requirements.
Ensure smooth coordination with our customers and internal stakeholders to successfully execute projects and deliver on commitments.
Represent GPM at key industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and trade missions focused on solar, wind, and storage within the region.
Provide insights and support to HQ's team regarding market dynamics, customer demands, and regional specifics to inform strategic decisions.
Reporting directly to the LATAM Regional Manager, you will collaborate closely to define and implement effective business strategies, market development plans, and annual sales targets aimed at achieving and surpassing commercial goals.

About you
What is required to thrive and succeed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial or sales-oriented role within the renewable energy or power industry.
Proven track record of managing the full sales lifecycle, with a strong focus on business development and lead generation strategies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong professional network across Mexico and Central America.
Excellent presentation and pitching skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of GPM solutions to customers and at public conferences.
Strong commercial awareness with a results-oriented mindset.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment while delivering high-quality results.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
