Job Description

The Position

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is the operational anchor of the Hyderabad Global Capability Centre (GCC), serving as the primary partner of the Co-Heads of the Hyderabad office for running a high‑performing site for Invesco.

The role is accountable for the administration, operational governance and operating cadence of the site - ensuring operational transparency and efficiency, and an exceptional employee experience - so functional leaders can focus on delivering business outcomes.

This is a run-the-site role with strong strategic influence, acting as the connective tissue between global corporate functions and local execution.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Supports the Co-Heads in setting the strategic agenda for Hyderabad, in alignment with Invesco’s global business priorities

Acts as a force multiplier for the Co-Heads through disciplined preparation and execution

Runs the management operating rhythm for the ofice (ILT meetings, monthly business reviews, scorecards, town halls, executive visits)

Partners with Finance to ensure strong planning and reporting

Partners with HR on talent lifecycle execution: hiring throughput, retention strategies, promotions, compensation cycles

Partners with Corporate Communications to ensure internal and cross functional messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned

Ensures leadership decisions are supported by clear data, materials, and follow through

Provides ad-hoc program management and oversight of cross-functional initiatives and priorities as needed

Engages with partners (marketing, events, HR, etc.) to facilitate local outreach and industry engagement, ensuring Hyderabad has a market-leading reputation in culture, brand, and impact

Qualifications and Experience

Good business understanding of financial services and asset management

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

Strong written communications skills

Strong organizational and financial skills

Proven ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively in a well-organized manner

Ability to prioritize and utilize resources of a large organization to meet goals and deadlines

Twelve or more (12+) years of related Consulting or Strategy experience

Possess strong interpersonal skills and humility, listen carefully and can be diplomatic yet assertive when sharing one’s views
