Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

Department Overview

The Corporate Marketing Planning Office is responsible for budget management, management reporting, and the planning and execution of business operations for the entire division, supporting the foundation of organizational management. As a team of about 10 people, we lead operations directly tied to the organization's management resources, working in close proximity to senior management.

Position Details

You will be responsible for planning and executing business operations, including budget management within the Marketing Division.

This is a critical role that supports organizational decision-making through the understanding and management of organizational movements and management resources.

Examples of duties:

- Formulating and managing budgets and personnel plans within the division

- Coordinating and collaborating with various organizations both inside and outside the division

- Creating reports for senior management

- Planning and promoting cross-divisional initiatives using perspectives from budget management and management accounting

Mandatory Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of professional experience

- Logical thinking skills and the ability to structure and visualize information

- Practical experience in data analysis and visualization using BI tools or Excel

- Japanese: Fluent (Business level or above)

- English: Intermediate level or above

Desired Qualifications:

- Business experience involving numerical analysis at a corporate company or consulting firm (e.g., management accounting, budget management, business administration, accounting, or business planning)

- Skill in creating materials using PowerPoint

- Project experience in the marketing field

- Willingness to challenge yourself and apply new technologies such as AI
