GP Egg pickup Driver Assistant

Job Description Summary: We are seeking a candidate for the Driver Assistant position. This role will assist the truck drivers with logistics. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a company truck to take supplies to farms. The assistant must have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift over 75 pounds.

Job Description:

Assist with loading and unloading the trailer as necessary

Ensure secure load before movement

Clean and wash truck as necessary

Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisors

All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age

Ability to read and write legibly

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate

Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character

High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic math functions and skills

Follow State and Federal laws, and company safety and biosecurity policies and programs

Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis

Lift up to 75 lbs

Work around raw, live animal odors
