About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career? As a Store Manager Trainee at Sephora Frankfurt, you will embark on a structured 6-month development programme designed to fully prepare you for the role of Store Manager. Throughout this journey, you will gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across all key areas of store management - from People & Leadership and Commercial Performance to Client Experience and Operations.
You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively take on the following missions:
Your Responsibilities
People
Support the management, development, and coaching of Assistant Managers and employees, including conducting career and employee appraisals
Recording sick notes for your own team
Participate in the induction of new employees and the organisation of training courses
Contribute to the implementation of floor management
Act as a role model in the Sephora Attitude and pass on the Sephora DNA
Actively participate in recruitment processes and recruitment strategies
Commercial Performance
Support full responsibility for achieving monthly and annual sales targets, including year-on-year sales growth
Analyse key retail figures such as IPT, AVB, Conversion Rate and Market Shares and derive sales activities to continuously increase store performance
Identify and develop sales potential
Ensure flawless visual merchandising standards, including the timely implementation of updates and animations
Ensure order and cleanliness on the sales floor
Contribute to creating and communicating recaps and reports to internal interfaces
Support tracking and ensuring the profitability of the store
Client Experience
Ensure excellent Sephora customer service and team focus on the customer
Evaluate customer feedback and derive measures to improve customer service
Ensure that we regularly surprise our customers
Operations
Support the creation of staff schedules and daily deployment plans, including floor zoning
Assist in the implementation of inventories to ensure optimum availability of goods
Participate in complete goods management - from receipt and proper storage to write-offs, returns and tester management
Support the proper opening and closing of the store, including cash register closing
Reporting and tracking of maintenance and merchandise issues
Ensure the store operates according to Sephora Audit rules
Additional Tasks
Participation in retail projects in cooperation with the Area Managers
Foster a good relationship with our partners
Additional tasks related to the daily business

Experience & Technical Skills
Completed studies or completed training, ideally in retail
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store or Assistant Manager in retail, preferably in the beauty sector
Enjoy dealing with customers and developing employees
Analytical and commercial working methods
Strong hands-on mentality and presence on the floor
Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel an advantage
Good knowledge of English and German at native or near-native level
