Job Overview

A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, an established and respected leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking a dedicated and organised Project Manager to join our team. With over 40 years of experience providing premier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, we are expanding our operations and looking for a professional to oversee projects in the Ohio or Illinois, United States region. This is a Full-Time position, ideal for an individual with a strong background in project management who is ready to ensure the successful delivery of our services, from central air conditioning installations to indoor air quality system upgrades.

Responsibilities

Plan, organise, and direct the completion of specific HVAC projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate and manage our teams of certified technicians, as well as any necessary subcontractors and suppliers.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and perform quality control checks.

Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and final project documentation.

Proactively identify and resolve any issues, delays, or challenges that may arise during a project.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the HVAC, construction, or a related trade industry.

A strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and software.

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Knowledge of HVAC systems and industry regulations is highly desirable.

A relevant qualification in project management would be considered an advantage.
