We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Master Scheduler to join the team with Bastion, a teammate company that will lead the development and management of integrated projects schedules supporting NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) flight programs. This role is ideal for someone with a background in project execution or test operations, especially within the NASA/JSC environment-and deep expertise in Microsoft Project.

We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening; however, we do not have assurance at this time when the position will be finalized and opened. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and analyze complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules using MS Project.

Collaborate with project managers, subsystem leads, and test engineers to define task sequences, dependencies, and resource allocations.

Support planning and execution of hardware development, integration, and test campaigns.

Identify schedule risks, perform critical path analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Deliver clear, actionable schedule reports and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels.

Ensure alignment with NASA/JSC program milestones, mission timelines, and configuration control processes.

Requisition Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

3+ years of experience in technical scheduling, project management, or test operations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource leveling, baselining, and custom reporting.

Familiarity with NASA/JSC flight hardware development, testing, or mission operations.

Strong understanding of waterfall scheduling methodologies and integrated master scheduling principles.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Requisition Preferences:

Experience working in or alongside Agile teams.

Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP).

Background in aerospace, systems engineering, or test integration environments.

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
